During a presentation of one of our Sundari-experts, we often get some laughs when we ask if the organisations of the participants are "designing for failure".

Answer : Off course we are not! Our software is perfect, it is the infrastructure that screws up. Naturally, we strive for perfection in our designs, in software as well as infrastructure.

If we then rephrase our question to designing to absorb failure of the other components, the reaction become totally different.
